City of Philadelphia Standard Special Hauling Permit
A City of Philadelphia Standard Special Hauling Permit is required when traveling on any city street, state route, or interstate highway in the City of Philadelphia and the vehicle and/or load is:
- over 40′-0″ long as a single vehicle;
- over 60′-0″ long as a combination vehicle;
- over 70′-0″ long as a combination transporting articles that are non-divisible as to length;
- over 8′-0″ wide (8′-6″ for non-divisible loads operating on highways having a width of 20′-0″ or more);
- over 13′-6″ high;
- over 80,000 pounds or the maximum gross vehicle weight.
A City of Philadelphia Super Load Special Hauling Permit is required when traveling on any city street, state route, or interstate highway in the City of Philadelphia and the vehicle and/or load is:
- over 160′-0″ long;
- over 16′-0″ wide;
- over 16′-0″ high;
- over 201,000 pounds.
