Chow Chi-Yeung is a 42 years old man who was working as a trucking supervisor at the Extrans International. He was responsible for selecting the contractors for Extrans International, a cargo transportation provider company in Hong Kong.
According to the Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong, the trucking supervisor at Extrans International caused and induced the company to issue a check in favor of a contractor. The event took place after he told the company that the contractor was the one to incur total service fees in 31 delivery notes.
Chi-Yueng defrauded in the company’s service payments. He did that by inflating the parking fees o delivery notes that were sent by the subcontractor. After a thorough investigation, it was found out that he caused inflation of HK$200 on the delivery notes’ fee.
The former trucking supervisor of Extrans International was charged with fraud and was to appear in front of West Kowloon Magistracy, Hong Kong, on 22nd October, Tuesday.
