Escort requirements are determined by the final size of your freight. At a minimum, all oversize loads/vehicles must display “Oversize Load” on both front and rear.
If oversized loads are traveling on one of Alabama’s highways, one escort is a required for lengths over 90′, width over 12′, or height over 16′. Two escorts are required for height more than 105′.
Our team is committed to making the process hassle-free for our customers. Our drivers will make all the arrangements if pilot cars are needed for anywhere in the country your cargo will travel through, whether across the southeast, Mexico or all the way to Canada.

What kind of trailers do you have for handling heavy equipment?
Our specialty is transporting heavy construction, agriculture, oilfield goods, and other types of equipment throughout Alabama and across the nation. Our solutions, resources, and trucking equipment are tailored to the specific needs of each business.
For example, a common option in our heavy haul fleet are our flatbed trailers, which offer a maximum weight of 48,000 pounds.
For many extremely heavy loads or super loads we’ll utilize one of our removable gooseneck RGN trailers (also called a step deck trailer). The maximum weight of this trailer is over 150,000 pounds. This option is ideal for shipping equipment that is over the maximum height for hauling inside a trailer.
No matter what specialized transportation is required —whether a gooseneck, flatbed, or one of our drop deck trailers—our oversized trucking team will match your unique shipments to the best trailer for the job, and guarantee to load and deliver it safely and professionally.
