Job duties include arranging the transfer of cargo from a warehouse to an airplane, train, ship, or truck, tracking the freight, and providing necessary documentation for both clients and relevant authorities.
Develop relationships with our clients, negotiate contracts and close deals. We will rely on you to partner with our marketing department to conduct market research and develop a strategic business development plan.
Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Assist the sales team and focus mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation. Sales support prepares and then follows up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them.
Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads to customers. Dispatchers are also responsible for keeping records, monitoring driver daily logs for errors or violations and monitoring drivers' working hours and equipment availability.
Track advertising costs, research consumer behavior and explore market trends/ opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with PPC campaigns and be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data.
